Sometimes it is a concert in the town square; at other times, a festival that transforms the city’s atmosphere for a few days; or perhaps a sporting event. In summer, Senigallia manages to bring together the seaside, music, bustling squares, major events, and small, spontaneous moments.

So, if you’re thinking about when to come, we’d like to give you a few ideas.

Adriatic Tattoo & Sport Festival

The Adriatic Tattoo & Sport Festival returns to the city from June 26 to 28, 2026—three days that transform the historic center. Squares, the fortress, gardens, and downtown streets fill with tattoo artists from around the world, a sports arena, basketball, street soccer, Muay Thai, boxing, workshops, live music, and street food.

On one side, you have the movement of athletes; on the other, the work of live artists; and in between, Senigallia shifts its rhythm and comes alive. The Adriatic Tattoo & Sport Festival is one of those events you don’t just watch—you experience from within.

And even if you’ve never thought about getting a tattoo, it’s still worth being there to soak up that blend of urban and creative energy that permeates the entire city.

XMasters

From July 11 to 19, XMasters—one of the most anticipated events on the “Velvet Beach”—comes to town.
For several days, Senigallia becomes a hub where sports, the sea, and entertainment converge. Expect wakeboarding, skateboarding, surfing, beach volleyball, performances, outdoor activities, and a beach buzzing with energy from morning till night.
You can start with a leisurely breakfast, head to the beach, stop to watch a competition, return to the town center for an aperitif, and go back to the seafront as the sun begins to set.

Concerts

If you love live music, Alfa’s concert is also taking place in Piazza Garibaldi on July 14, 2026.

A packed square, live music, the balmy July air, and that moment when the whole city seems to be moving in the same direction. A great excuse to plan a few days by the sea during that very week.

On August 8th, however, Tony Pitony comes to Mamamia—one of the iconic summer venues on the Adriatic Riviera, which draws crowds from the entire area on the right nights.

Summer Jamboree

The Summer Jamboree returns between late July and August. From July 31 to August 9, as if by time machine, the historic center, local venues, alleyways, and the beach will be filled with swing music, rock ’n’ roll concerts, dance classes, vintage markets, 1940s and ’50s-style barbershops, colorful outfits, vintage bicycles, and crowds of people arriving from all over Europe.

And even if you don’t know how to swing dance, even if you’ve never listened to rockabilly, and even if you don’t have a vintage outfit in your suitcase, you go anyway. Because Senigallia has a truly special atmosphere during those days. You can hear the music from afar, and it feels almost natural to linger a little longer.

And when you’re tired of partying, there’s always your Plan B—with the sea right in front of you, the bar open, and the total freedom to decide how your day unfolds as you go.
